Celebrating 5 Years of Digital Culture

It’s that time of year again when we spotlight and promote the up-and-coming Digital Jamaicans making waves online.

Each year, we turn to the community to help us find the people who are contributing to the advancement of digital culture in Jamaica. The goal is to shine a light on what they do and how it advances the development of digital culture in Jamaica.

It is hoped that this kind of visibility and representation will serve as a source of inspiration, showing other Jamaicans that it is not only possible but prudent to use digital spaces to create economic opportunities.

This year’s publication coincides with the 5 year anniversary of Digital Jamaica and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with our 2023 honourees.

Nomination Guidelines

  • Nominees must be visible and active online and or use tech/digital tools in some significant way.
  • Nominees must be Jamaican, whether living in Jamaica or in the Diaspora.
  • You can nominate yourself once you meet the criteria. 
  • You can nominate up to 5 persons, however each nomination should be submitted separately.
  • Only one entry per nomination will be considered (it’s not a vote).
